is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics at Metropolitan State College of Denver. Originally from Bismarck, North Dakota (brrrr!), she completed her B.A. in economics at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota (brrrr!) and in 2006 received her doctorate in economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder. She taught for three years at the Univerisity of Southern Indiana before the mountains called her back west. Katie's research interests lie at the intersection of international trade and health economics. She travels whenever possible and enjoys practicing yoga.

is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at the Metropolitan State College of Denver. Her main research interests include economics of the family, development economics, and environmental economics. She grew up in Illinois, received her BA in Anthropology from Grinnell College in 2000 (Go Pioneers!), and finally escaped to Colorado where she earned her doctorate in Economics from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2008. Christina is also a novice runner with a few half-marathons under her belt, and always looks forward to cheering on the Denver Broncos.

is an Instructor at The University of Colorado at Boulder. His research interests are in the fields of public choice economics and international trade. Billy grew up in northern California and received his B.A. from The University of Michigan. He worked as an accountant back in the San Francisco area before earning his doctorate in Economics from The University of Colorado at Boulder in 2000. He enjoys trail running, skiing and hiking, but does not enjoy running, skiing and hiking injuries. He also loves dogs and the color blue!
